As the seasons change, it is always such a joy to welcome new flowers to the garden - but it’s also a bit sad to say goodbye to our favourite flower friends for another year when their season is complete!

A flower press is a lovely way to preserve your favourite blooms to enjoy year round - there is nothing quite like taking a quiet moment with a nice cup of tea, to sift through your pressed flower collection and recollect, for example, the blousy cosmos from that gorgeous summer day in late February…..

Pressing flowers is super easy: just pick your favourite botanicals from the garden and arrange them however you like on some paper towel, and layer them between the provided cardboard sheets. Then simply place your pretties between the backing boards, tighten the bolts and leave the pressed flowers in place for 3-4 weeks.

The flower press is made from eco MDF and engraved with the Scout’s Garden logo. It is approximately 14cm x 21 cm.
